Russian e-store Wildberries starts working in Poland

MOSCOW, Jan 9 (PRIME) -- Russian online retailer Wildberries has started expansion to the E.U. by entering the Polish market, the company said on Thursday in a statement.

“The start of sales in Poland has become a new stage in implementation of our international strategy. Russian producers, with whom we work, received access to a new large market via Wildberries,” Director for Development Vyacheslav Ivashchenko said.

The platform offers more than 13,500 brands, and their number will grow. The marketplace sells clothes, footwear, accessories and toys. In Poland, the company will run a courier service and delivery to 100 pick-up points.

In addition to Russia and Poland, Wildberries also works in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
